I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Very Vanilla base. The second layer is also Very Vanilla, it is cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. The top and bottom are stamped in Crumb Cake with Delicate Details (a free Sale a-bration stamp) I embossed it with a retired embossing folder because I felt it needed a quiet subtle background, but I think the Softly Falling Embossing folder would work just as well. The heart is Very Vanilla and is cut with the Bloomin’ Heart thinlit. I sponged the heart with Crumb Cake, Watermelon Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Always Artichoke. The larger flowers are made Watermelon Wonder card stock which are heat embossed with white. The smaller flowers are made with Very Vanilla card stock and are inked in Watermelon Wonder. Some of the flowers are popped up with dimensionals. The banner is stamped in Always Artichoke and Watermelon Wonder and also popped up with dimensionals. i added pearls to the flowers and the lace details…
I decided to make another Balloon Pop-Up card but in the brighter primary colours. These are are so much fun to make because they are so fast and simple..
I started with the 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Peekaboo Peach card stock.I cut a piece of Tasty Treats DSP at 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″and adhered it to base.I then cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White and ran it through the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit die and embossed it with Seaside.I stamped the banner outline in Real Red and the “Party On” sentiment in Pacific Point. Both of these are from the Balloon Adventures stamp set. The balloons are Real Red, Cucumber Crush and Pacific Point, the bow is Cucumber Crush and all are cut with the Balloon Pop-Up thinlit dies..
The card base is a piece of Pear Pizzazz cut at 5 !/2″ x 8 1/2″. I cut the edge with the Love Notes Framelit Dies (heart border) and the hearts are stamped with Always Artichoke using the hearts in the Sealed with Love stamp set.. I then cut a piece of 3 3/4″ x 5 3/8″ piece of Pear Pizzazz and embossed it in the Festive embossing folder. The small hearts along the border have Very Vanilla hearts that are cut in half and tucked under the Pear Pizzazz hearts on the border. I cut a piece of 1″ x 3 3/4″ Vary vanilla card stock for the lace detail on the bottom. It is stamped with the Delicate Details stamp set from the Sale-a-bration catalog and is stamped with Calypso Coral and Always Artichoke. I wrapped apiece of Very Vanilla satin ribbon around the top of the stamped lace piece and tied a short piece of ribbon on top.The lace doily was used from the Occasions catalog. The doilies have a vanilla and a white side to it so you can sponge or spritz them any colour you wish. I sponged outer edge of the Very Vanilla side of the doily with Calypso Coral. The inner circle is cut from the smaller stitched circle framelit in Very vanilla and is sponged in Wisteria Wonder. The sentiment “Just for You” is from the So In Love stamp set and is stamped in Always Artichoke. I stamped the largest flower using the flower in the So In Love stamp set. I heat embossed it in white on a piece of Succulent Garden DSP. The daisy like flowers are from the Succulent framelit dies. I used the smallest daisy flower and sponged the outer edges of Whisper White card stock with Wisteria Wonder. The flowers on top of the daisies are from Bloomin’ Love and are stamped on Whisper White and Calypso Coral card stock.I stamped with Calypso coral ink on the Whisper White card stock and heat embossed with white on the Calypso Coral Card stock. The Always Artichoke leaves are cut from the Stylish Stems Framelit Dies..
This birthday card is made with the Balloon Adventures bundle. The card base is a piece of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ in Pool Party. The 2nd layer is a piece of 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ Whisper White card stock and is embossed with the Festive embossing folder. I cut a 5 !/4″ x 4″ piece of Pool Party card stock with the Balloons Pop-Up Thinlets die. The “Party On” sentiment is from the Balloon Adventures stamp set and is stamped in Basic Black Archival ink. The Banner is also from the same set and it is stamped in Pool Party. I cut the balloons and the bow from Tasty Treats DSP from the Occasions catalog and from the Carried Away DSP from the Sale-a-bration catalog.
One of my favorite new sets in the Occasions catalog is the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle. I am loving the details and versatility of this bundle. The base of the card is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Very Vanilla card stock. The second layer is also Very Vanilla card stock cut at 4″ x 5 1/4″. I stamped this piece with the Delicate Details stamp set using Rich Razzleberry, Always Artichoke, Tangerine Tango and Calypso Coral. The third layer is also Very Vanilla cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ and is embossed with Petal Burst. The oval scallop is Rich Razzlebery. The Very Vanilla oval is sponged along the outer edge with Old Olive. I also used the curved leaf sprig in the That’s the Tag stamp set and inked it also in Old Olive. The dragonflies are both Basic Black card stock and the larger one has vellum cut on the underside. I sponged the vellum with Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango and Calypso Coral before adhering the Black. The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp set and is stamped in Basic Black Archive ink on a piece of 1″ x 4″ Tangerine Tango. I also coloured a few pearls with a black jiffy marker and adhered them to the dragonflies.
This card was made with the border of hearts in the Love Notes Framelit dies. I started by cutting the 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Pink Pirouette card base. I cut strips of 1″ x 6″ pieces of card stock in Pink Pirouette, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo.(two of each colour) These strips cut with the heart border, lining the edge of the hearts along the 6″ edge of the 1″ x 6″. The Strips of hearts are adhered to a piece of 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ black cards stock, overlapping slightly and staggering them. Trim excess on bottom and top and adhere to base.
